Woody was Gus’ Stress & Rescue Instructor back in 2019. After becoming a recreational master diver, Woody mentored Gus on his journey to become a dive instructor and rebreather diver later that year. Long road trips to Florida meant hours of talking about diving, and one day they decided “Why don’t we just record these conversations and share them with our friends?”, and thus, Dive Talk was born.

Many of you that know me certainly know that I believe that the ocean has "Ocean Soul". This soul is alive with life and energy. I believe when we dive in the ocean, we gain special healing powers. We ingest all that bio luminescence, and it becomes a part of us. This is why I've been so addicted to its magical powers since I was a baby (being born and raised in the incredible city of Ft. Lauderdale).

Now let's look at what pink is thought to represent: sweet, nice, playful, cute, romantic, charming, tenderness, is associated with bubble gum, flowers, babies, little girls, cotton candy, and sweetness. The color of universal love of oneself and of others.

Pink represents caring, compassion and love. The pink color stands for unconditional love and understanding and is associated with giving and receiving care. Since pink is a combination of red and white, both colors add a little to its characteristics. It gets the lust for action from the red color, and the white color gives it an opportunity to achieve success and insight. Passion and power from red, softened with the purity and openness of the white color completes pink color meaning. The deeper the pink color, the more passion and energy it radiates.

Pink represents friendship, affection, harmony, inner peace, and approachability.  Pink represents the color of breast cancer survivors, which I'm all too familiar with as well.

Ocean Soul, inner peace, love, kindness, approachability, passion, power, gives care but needs care, sometimes full of action, sometimes calm and tranquil, ........

Pink, Ocean Soul, let the world be full of both.

Although we are dive instructors we don’t teach full time. Sometimes we deliver classes virtually, and in rare occasions we offer in person training. You can see the courses we have coming up along with other events we are hosting or attending in our Calendar...

The vast majority of our episodes have been recorded together in the same studio. We have recorded a couple of episodes and Livestreams remotely but almost every single episode we’ve ever recorded has been done together in the same room/location.

Woody got certified as a rebreather cave diver in 2019 by Brian Kakuk in Abaco, Bahamas. Gus got certified as a rebreather cave diver in 2020 by Doug Ebersole in Florida.

The easiest and best way to dive with us is to attend our yearly meetup! More information about the meetup here...
